Heh reading all the baffled posts on FB has been hilarious. We're all real excited to be working with Casey and making this collaboration happen

I've always resisted being part of that fb group until today. To those of us outside the inner circle, this collab makes total sense.

I'll go lurk around the thread again and see
I think it's so vastly different to what 3A fans are expecting. I think it's pretty dang fun. All the torso segments rotate and the head

time to get excited. So based on the advert, are the eyes GID or LEDs?

Different kind of fan base than 3A is used to. Casey's got a pretty dedicated crowd of fans and collectors out there due to his successful art shows and print sales over the years. We all felt it was an opportunity to try something new and potentially bring in some new fans that may not know who or what 3A does. And we are hoping this different kind of exposure helps get some new eyes on what Casey does. Super fun project to work on and we have lots of ideas for how to continue the series, but will all depend on how these two do.

I would highly suggest looking at Casey's IG. He does more than just cats. Dude's color palette is insane.

Re: threeA x Casey Weldon
Yeah, I would say the fact that 3A went in this direction to bring another artist creation to life is something I hope to see continue.
I like how adventurous this can be with an artist collab versus another licensed toy that may have more "rules/restrictions" tied in.
This is really akin to one of my big draws to 3A in the first place... which is seeing Ash's artwork and worlds come to life in a tangible form.(badass "toys"!)
I actually found the toys first,... but then seeing the worlds that they belonged to from Ash, it just gave them that extra depth that many don't have.
Good on you 3A - keep going in this direction!
Now we just need more AK, WWR, etc...

the CHARTREUX
the BOMBAY
Agreed, but I need to choose one for now to help push the support in the hopes that a colour variant I reeeeaaaaalllly love comes out.
Edit: Totally decided on the BOMBAY.

Finally we have a pet as well.
Chartreux Kittypillar arrived.
Kittypillar is a nicely executed, bigger than expected, pretty hefty cat, with beautiful details and great box art.
Although it looks bigger, it's exactly 20cm tall and about as long.
